Ocean Rambler
Oak Bay near the heart of Victoria BC is a favourite year-round fishing destination. From Oak Bay less time is spent traveling to the hot fishing spots and can be reached in as little as 15 minutes. Coho Salmon, which are also known as Silvers, are abound from July through October. Pink Salmon may be caught every odd numbered years only through August and September. Spring Salmon, otherwise know as Chinooks or Kings are the largest Salmon and can easily come in over 20 lbs! When you have your limit for the day you can always stroll the quaint shops and restaurants in Beautiful Oak Bay Village.

Sooke is a beautiful sea side community, a short hour drive Northwest of Victoria. The waters off Sooke offers consistent salmon and halibut fishing year round. Sooke is also home to the world renowned Sooke Harbour House Hotel and Restaurant. Celebrities from all over have been known to helicopter in for a sumptuous meal!
